"I took a class to become stronger with my communication, and I emerged a stronger person. I usually hate talking in front of a group even if it's just answering a question, and I was able to get more comfortable with that. Professor Fanney was great at pushing me and kept the class comfortable."

"I just wanted to email you and let you know that your class just helped me get a job!
This morning, I had a job interview for a Teacher's Aide position. I had no idea how many people were going to be present. It turned out to be a 4-person panel and I thought I was going to faint. Every unit we've had so far, helped me apply my knowledge to the interview.
I made sure my self-esteem was high, I thought positive, avoided miscommunication, was clear and concise in my answers, and concise language was definitely key in my interview.
I was dreading communication because I was so nervous about learning about speeches and likely giving them, but the information was so invaluable, I've developeed a newfound respect and love for communication! Thank you so much!!"
